If as many satellite control systems are established as satellites launched, then this increases the complexity of operating and controlling the systems and the risk attributable to the increase of control expenses and system aging. To solve such problems, this project has grafted virtualization technology onto the satellite control system. The virtualization technology was applied through the following stages; 1) The maximum, minimum and estimated values of the operating system's resources were analyzed. 2) The optimum virtualization system was established based on the analyzed results. 3) The test operation of the established virtualization system was conducted based on the prescribed test procedures. To test the performance of the multi-model system, a performance monitoring tool was created and used for the verification of virtualization system performance.
